Semester 2 Schedule Pick Up
Semester 2 begins on Monday January 28th. Students will have a regularly scheduled day of A,B,C,D classes. We are pleased to share, that due to the tremendous work of our counsellors and clerical team, we are able to offer Semester 2 schedule pick up early! Schedule availability will be as follows:
Thursday January 24th beginning at 1:00 pm at the Pearson Foyer (office closes at 3:30 pm)
Friday January 25th beginning at 1:00 pm at the Pearson Foyer (office closes at 3:30 pm
Friday January 25th beginning at 1:45 pm at the Pearson Foyer (office closes at 3:30 pm)
Friday January 25th beginning at 2:30 pm at the Pearson Foyer (office closes at 3:30 pm)
What if a student can’t pick up during the above times?
Should students not be available to pick up schedules this week, Monday morning they will be able to locate their A block class on lists posted outside the library and Pearson Foyer. Students should report to the A block class, where they will receive Semester 2 schedules.
IMPORTANT UPDATE TO COURSE CHANGE REQUEST PROCESS
Students must complete a course change request form, available on our website here, or pick up in person at the Counselling Office. Once the form is completed and signed, by a parent/guardian, the form can then be returned to the counselling office to obtain an appointment slip. DO NOT LINE UP AT THE COUNSELLING OFFICE TO WAIT. Students are expected to attend the classes listed on their schedule until their appointment time.
Change requests may only be made for one of the following reasons:
- Student failed a required course and needs to reschedule;
- Student is not meeting Graduation Requirements;
- Student is in Grade 12 and may need an additional course for post-secondary institution requirements before June 2019;
- Student has 2 classes in the same block;
- Other reasons require written explanation on the form.
Should any student know of a failure already, please make an appointment to see a counsellor this week.
