Opening Day – Semester 2

Opening Day Semester 2

Regular bell schedule (day starts at 8:25am and ends at 3:05pm). Individual student schedules may have changed from original timetables distributed in September.

Students will find their Homeroom lists (Block A classes) posted in the Pearson foyer and hallway. Locate your name and A block class and proceed straight to Block A.  Semester 2 schedules will be distributed by Block A Teachers.

Counsellors prioritize appointments this week based on missing graduation requirements, courses failed in Semester 1 that could impact Semester 2 courses, or an incomplete schedule. No other course change requests can be accommodated.

Throughout the day January 29th we will have Grade based Assemblies. Students will be called by grade throughout the day.

All Grade 12’s have an assembly at 9:05am in the Massey Theatre (even those with a study block). Important information will be shared regarding graduation.

Grade 9 through 11 students will attend an assembly and have an opportunity to spend time in our course promotional event. This is meant to provide students an opportunity to learn about the many different offerings available at NWSS.

Open House – Tuesday January 30th MASSEY THEATRE

6pm to 8pm

The course promotional event offered above will be available beginning at 6pm in the Massey Small Gym. At 6:45 in the Massey Theatre we will begin a formal presentation of the attributes and general programs offered at NWSS. This will be followed by a further opportunity to browse the course promotional event which will wrap up at 8pm.
