NWSS Drama presents Walt Disney’s “Beauty & The Beast” Feb. 26 – 29 Massey Theatre

New Westminster Secondary School’s Musical Theatre Program – School’s Out Productions – proudly presents Disney’s Beauty and the Beast- February 26-29 at Massey Theatre. This “tale as old as time” is sure to wow audiences with its colourful and dazzling display of fantastical dance numbers, comedic banter, and crowd-pleasing music. The story emphasizes the values of kindness, acceptance, sacrifice, and true love while taking viewers on an emotional journey of discovery. This story truly proves that love is stronger than hate. We invite you to “be our guest” for this classic happily-ever-after production.

The NWSS Musical Theatre team established School’s Out Productions in 2008. The various courses offered in our current program integrate separate disciplines (acting, voice, dance, music, technical theatre) to create unique aesthetic experiences. Students explore, collaborate, imagine, create, and apply various techniques throughout the guided process. The 2020
main-stage production will present opportunities for over 80 student actors, singers, dancers, musicians, and technical crew to fully develop their skills. We thank you for your continued support.
