Every Child Matters – Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, Sept. 30th

Reconciliation Week is happening at NWSS which means that students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt on Wednesday, September 30th.

The importance of wearing an orange shirt is to remember and honour the Indigenous children who were sent to residential schools. It is to demonstrate that everyone can unite in the spirit of reconciliation and that “Every Child Matters”.
