NWSS is home to approximately 2,000 students in grades 9 through 12. We are proud of our diversity and that is reflected in an array of educational programs and services as we strive to meet the needs of all learners and backgrounds. Our learners achieve success along with a greater understanding and grasp of the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing globalized world.

Every Child Matters – Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, Sept. 30th

Reconciliation Week is happening at NWSS which means that students are encouraged to wear an orange shirt on Wednesday, September 30th.

The importance of wearing an orange shirt is to remember and honour the Indigenous children who were sent to residential schools. It is to demonstrate that everyone can unite in the spirit of reconciliation and that "Every Child Matters".

Wear an orange shirt on Wednesday, September 30th.
