Student Leadership

The main objective of the Student Leadership Council is to promote  leadership in various activities and enhance school spirit. Involvement in all aspects of school life enriches the secondary school experience and complements student academic work.

Highlights of Student Leadership Council-sponsored events include a yearly school-wide Food Drive held each December in support of deserving families within the school community who each receive food hampers to brighten their holiday season.

A Student Leadership Blood Drive was so successful in support of the New Westminster Blood Bank. The fact that half of all Canadians will either need blood or know someone who will need blood at some point in their lives points to the significance of NWSS student efforts in booking over 80 appointments in November.

These are just some of the amazing contributions of students devoting time and energy to projects that make a difference in the lives of others.
